PRT: Berto Pandolfo

Berto Pandolfo talks about the story and inspiration behind his project PRT in this short video.

PRT is an exploration into responsible use of materials, specifically timber particle board. Traditionally used for its cost effectiveness in mass produced furniture, Berto developed a new shaping technique for particle board which exposes an interesting texture and aesthetic in what is typically a material which is disguised or hidden by any means necessary.
