Exhibition: Nyein, Who Makes Cool Stuff

Dr Nyein Chan Aung, UTS Industrial Design graduate of 2009, will soon be presenting his first ever art show at BlackCat Gallery, Collingwood, Vic. The show will feature select pieces from Nyein’s entire body of work, including drawings, paintings, photography, and visual art.

Nyein has recently most recently had his work included in the Melbourne Art Trams program, with his piece The Late Supper being selected to be featured on the launch Tram, used throughout the various media publications for the event.

From Nyein:
The Late Supper is an interpretation of the iconic painting The Last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci. The illustration depicts people having supper; however, features unknown customers at Melbourne’s renowned Supper Inn Chinese restaurant instead of Jesus Christ and his apostles.
