Wooden Curve | Tim Wei
The Wooden Curve is a bowl made up of plywood pieces curved in mould. The idea and design of this pieces started with inspiration from nature. After several play and experiments to my materials, I decided to go further on making curved timber. plywood is flexible and versatile so it is the ideal choice for the bowl. The bowl is assembled with brass rivets, as it gives a extra detail to the work. The rounded edges and the naturally curved up body of the bowl are the attempt to feature the beauty and smoothness of natural aesthetic.
