Dr Vasilije Kokotovich
Lecturer
Vasilije Kokotovich has worked extensively as an industrial designer and design engineer in both the United States and Australia, much of it in parallel to his many years of teaching experience at tertiary level.
His areas of specialisation and current research relate to design thinking, design creativity/innovation, and design systemics.
His teaching covers product technology, research and conceptualisation, problem solving in industrial design and industrial design theory, while his latest research aims to develop creative thinking strategies that assist in the creative resolution of design problems.
Says Vasilije: “It is argued that if we can develop and teach these creative thinking strategies, we will increase the creative capital of the cultures that use them.”
