Competition: Specsavers Young Innovator winner is Pearson Bulmer

UTS Product Design would like to congratulate Pearson Bulmer for his recent win of the Specsavers Young Innovator Design Competition. Pearson is a 2018 graduate of UTS Product Design, and was one of three winners of the competition which was open to all students and 2018 graduates within Australia and New Zealand.

Pearson’s collection is a homage to bold forms of retro and minimalism. Designed to be an optical or sunglass frame, his design concept includes pops of pastel colour and offers something for those who can’t get enough of the clear translucent frame trend.

Bold. Youthful. Sophisticated. His designs are born in the 80’s and matured in the present. The collection is versatile yet distinct – a symbol of individuality and quiet confidence.
