Cu | Kenny Son
Cu is a multi-use planter-vessel constructed using copper piping and a range of select Australian timbers.
Cu is designed for both home and commercial surroundings.
Cu is wax treated to be water resistant (non-permanent).
Cu will age gradually, exposing the natural qualities of its materiality.

Laso | Radka Passianova
Laso, a handmade fruit bowl, exploring the theme layer.The initial investigation of this theme brought me to plywood, which is interesting material constructed from layers of wooden veneers. This material was invented and used by ancient Mesopotamians as early as 3400BC. Today, we can find different types of plywood for various uses. Beautiful birch craft plywood imported from Finland suitable for bending and forming through steaming was used for the construction of laso. Once the form of a 380mm diameter bowl was achieved the corners of the plywood were riveted with sterling silver.

Pelli | Alfred Ching
Pelli is a fruit bowl made from rolled stainless steel strips, each strip is precisely cut and rolled to an exact curvature creating tension between its edges and the surface it is sitting on. The strips are powder coated and fastened in the middle with a machined rivet which allows the product to open and collapse for easy storage. The user can fan out each strip as they please, creating unique aesthetics whether they are arranged in order or in random.
